CASA, Inc. (formerly, CASA of Maryland) is a Latino and immigration advocacy and assistance organization that provides a variety of legal services for low-income immigrants in housing, employment and immigration matters.

Program Description:

CASA provides Same Day Representation to tenants facing eviction in Montgomery County and select days in Baltimore City. CASA also provides legal support and representation to renters throughout Maryland on a wide range of landlord-tenant issues.

CASA may be able to negotiate with a current or former employer, file complaints with labor agencies, or file lawsuits for labor violations, including unpaid wages, discrimination, and other workplace disputes.

Immigration Assistance

Program Description:

Depending on capacity, CASA provides legal consultations on general immigration issues, as well as enhanced legal support to community members in removal proceedings who are on Alternatives to Detention. CASA also assists community members from Venezuela, Cameroon, and Haiti on TPS cases. Additionally, CASA continues to assist with DACA cases.
