Many services are free of charge, including professional counseling, victim advocacy, community education presentations and sexual assault forensic exams. UM Capital will assist you regardless of inability to pay.
Program Description

UM Capital Region Health's team of trained hotline counselors provide crisis counseling 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Whether the event just occurred or you are experiencing emotional stress from a past event, our counselors are here to help. All services are free.

Services include:

  • Assistance navigating the legal system and process
  • Crisis counseling and intervention 
  • Short-term trauma counseling for individuals, families, and groups
  • Sexual assault forensic exams
  • Victim advocacy
  • Safety planning
  • Danger assessments
  • Referral information
